Investigation on impact and wear behavior of Al6061 (SiC + Al2O3) and Al7075 (SiC + Al2O3) hybrid composites

The current study focuses on the properties of dry sliding characteristics and impact strength two different aluminum alloys that were reinforced with 100 nm sized Silicon carbide (SiC) Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) ceramic particles, for improving mechanical final alloy mixing materials characteristics. Stir casting method is adopted fabricating composites, matrix being Al6061 Al7075, utilizing three distinct reinforcement ratios. In order to improve increase resistance wear, tear, shear, SiC Al2O3 are utilized as reinforcing elements. Following creation composite matrices, their physical behaviors examined in accordance ASTM standards, a comparison between hybrid composites made Al7075 then completed. Comparison obtained samples showed (12 % + 6 Al2O3) exhibits exceptional tribological studied can be used automotive industry, example, production pistons, connecting rods, due minimum degree wear variable thermal expansion coefficient.
